Lance Fanaroff, joint CEO at the Integr8 Group, has been shortlisted as a finalist to compete in two award categories at the annual Topco National Business Awards in July.
Organisers of the industry-focused competition, touted as the ‘Oscars of South African business’ and attended by the likes of Cyril Ramaphosa, have confirmed Fanaroff’s inclusion on the list of nominees vying for both the Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Businessman of the Year Award.

The Integr8 Group has captured the interest of competition organisers having been nominated in three categories.

In the Entrepreneur Award Fanaroff will be up against an impressive list of competitors including: Johan Buitendach – Bumbo; Lucas Moloi – Junto Investment Holdings; Matthew Tagg – Web Africa; Jenneth Prinsloo – Tswellapele Plants and Otto Hager – Iskhus Power, all of whom represent the executive management of their respective operations.

With regard to the Businessman of the Year Award, Fanaroff’s name is pitched against the likes of Olivier Meyer – Wasteman Group; Rory Kirk – Hatch Africa; Marko Saravanja – Regenysys Management; Richard Maponya (Maponya Motors Property Holdings (Pty) Ltd. and Siyabonga Gama – Transnet Freight Rail.

“I am very pleased to have received this recognition and inclusion amongst an exclusive group of entrepreneurs. It is of great significance to me personally, and also a strong reflection of the drive and determination that characterises the ethos according to which the Integr8 group is run and upon which it was founded,” says Fanaroff.

Richard Fletcher, Chairman, Topco Media, has commented on the company’s feat in having secured nominations in three categories and said that given the fact that there are 650 000 trading entities in South Africa and only fourteen awards, Integr8 IT will be a company to watch going forward.
