Sophos South Africa has appointed network integration and infrastructure management specialist, Integr8 IT, as a Platinum Reseller for Sophos’s range of security and control solutions for the corporate environment.
Through its partner programme, Sophos South Africa establishes relationships with industry leaders in systems integration, hardware, software and other relevant services to extend the breadth of its services and solutions.
Jacques Watermeyer, consulting services Manager at Integr8 IT, says that Sophos is a preferred security offering as it addresses business, rather than consumer requirements.
“Large corporations and small businesses around the world, as well as government, academic, health and financial organisations, trust our products to secure their data because of our stringent focus on professional requirements.”
He adds that the Sophos range of Network Access Control, Endpoint, e-mail and Web security and control solutions meet market demands for management capabilities that are well designed, providing a single point for installation, configuration and monitoring, while also offering enhanced reporting capabilities.
“Our customers simply expect the best, and so do we, which is why we selected Sophos as a technology partner. Our Platinum partner status ensures that we receive direct access to local Sophos resources and development teams as well as the experience and expertise that have set the company apart from its competitors.”
Integr8 IT has deployed six Sophos security solutions over the past three months. “We were able to demonstrate to our clients how proper implementation of Sophos products can have a positive and measurable impact on their organisation,” Watermeyer says.
“Sophos enterprise solutions are completely intuitive and we believe that Sophos Endpoint client and server security will be major drivers for Integr8 IT.”
Cornel Swart, COO of Sophos South Africa, says Sophos South Africa employs a channel enabling model through which it works with partners to develop, market, sell and deliver comprehensive security solutions.
“Our partners are organisations that are willing and able to carry out detailed, joint business planning with Sophos South Africa to effectively address market opportunities,” he adds.
