There are very few people in the SA ICT market who don’t know who Rob Sussman is. He has been recognised globally on numerous occasions, winning countless awards. Qualified as an Electrical Engineer who has been named as the Absa Entrepreneur of the Year, Africa’s leading Chief Information Officer of the Year multiple times over, the overall winner of the “Oscars of the ICT Industry” ICT Achiever of the year, one of the top IT Personalities of the Year and a leading Entrepreneur in the Ernst &Young Worldwide Entrepreneur of the Year.  Rob’s passion for the industry, drive to bridge the digital divide and deployment of entrepreneurial innovation to change people’s lives has been his reason for close on two decades. Lance Fanaroff (Joint Chief Executive Officer) – B.Comm

A Professor at the London School of Business describes him as ‘A Marketing Man & Master Deal-maker”. Through sheer grit & determination, Lance co-founded Integr8 IT from a tiny bedroom in 2001 to its glamorous headquarters today. At the recent Topco National Business Awards, the Oscars of SA Business, Lance won the prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year award, which was previously won by other business icons. He was also honoured as one of the top Entrepreneurs in the Ernst & Young Worldwide Entrepreneur of the Year awards, as well as being named one of the top IT Personalities of the Year. Lance’s entrepreneurial attitude has been one of the cornerstones of Integr8’s culture. Lance lives by his values. His mantra has always been “dream big & make it happen” which bodes well for Integr8 & its clients as it enters yet another era of compounded expansion. With a burning passion, clear vision & extreme confidence, Lance aspires to make Integr8 a renowned & undisputed ICT leader throughout the world. Jan Roux (Chief Information Officer) – DP, IBM, CNE

A highly respected industry veteran with a wealth of technical, operational and management experience and qualifications, Jan has moved up the ranks of the company where he now holds a key position as Managing Director. Jan calls on his significant business management skills to steer the burgeoning Integr8 Group. He is no stranger to the ICT industry having worked in the sector for over two decades. Jan is a member of the Institute of Directors and is recognised as a founding member of the South African Chapter of the Institute of Microsoft Certified Partners. Jan has been part of the Integr8 team since 2001, playing a significant role in building the technical competency within the company. His motto in life, “Advantages are taken, not handed out” reflect both his and Integr8’s resourcefulness.

Bennie Strydom (Chief Sales Officer) – IOD SA

Bennie has the ideal mixture of youth and experience that works so well in the ICT industry. His energy and enthusiasm is tempered with a healthy dose of reality earned working in an industry that has seen two crashes in less than a decade. That said, Bennie has remained committed to steering companies through these troubled waters. His insight, integrity and a superb technical team for backup, has meant Integr8 clients have enjoyed the best solutions for their businesses. Bennie is a member of the International Association for Microsoft Partners (IAMP) as well as the Online Institute of Directors. In true Integr8 style Bennie’s motto shows he leaves nothing to chance – “If your ship doesn’t come in, swim to it.”

Tami Sussman (Chief Marketing Officer) – BMD, DTP (IAC)

Tami has always seen Integr8 as an extension of her family and while the family has grown to over 450-strong since 2001, she has managed to keep the same ethos at the heart of the company.  Being at the core of every strategic activity since inception of the business, Tami’s Business Management qualifications and work experience gained at leading firms like Ernst & Young, have allowed her to own an exceptional understanding of all key functions within the company. Her value and reach is broadly experienced with her relentless and boundless energy pouring into countless initiatives for the greater community. Tami spearheads countless CSI initiatives all of which have ‘Ubuntu’ or the ‘enablement of the community’ at their core. This corporate culture has not only attracted some of the finest skills on offer, but has led to Integr8 winning multiple innovation and workplace provider awards acknowledging it as the employer of choice. Tami’s personal values are shared with that of the company and she believes that a business should be run with integrity and, unsurprisingly, her life motto is “Live your truth”.

Chris van der Walt (Chief Financial Officer)

But, the company is primarily known for the quality of its expertise – and Financial Director Chris van der Walt is a great example. His financial acumen and business sense has helped to direct the company and position it as a recognised leader. Chris is a qualified Chartered Accountant and completed his articles at Deloitte. He completed a Senior Management Development Program at the University of Stellenbosch business school.

He first started as a financial manager at Integr8 after completing his articles and, in his own words, ‘has never looked back’. He has learnt a great deal from the previous CFO and current CEOs, and has applied core business principle, lessons learnt and his passion for technology in business within his current position. Chris demonstrates the possibilities and opportunities that awaits Integr8 staff who exemplify the passion, dedication and commitment the company stands for.”

Jacques Watermeyer (Chief Technical Officer) – IT Eng

With a deep technical knowledge of the field and extensive experience in the industry, Jacque has acquired the solid foundation needed by a CTO to care for the long-term interests of the company and its partners. Playing a prominent role in building of one of South Africa’s strongest Professional Service teams, as well as accommodating the build of the Project Management Office, helped Jacques to expand on his already impressive array of technical proficiencies in a variety of technology solutions and platforms. Included in his vast skill set are abilities such as current engagement at a high level of consulting, basic, intermediate and advanced design, implementation and support. Encouraged by the innovative approach of his team and his consistent exposure to new ideas being turned into reality, he never fails to find new ways, business models and solutions to suit the needs of his clients. These attributes, along with desire to acquire new knowledge and outstanding interpersonal communication skills, make him the ideal Chief Technical Officer for Integr8 Group

Chris Reeler (Chief Operations Officer) – B.Comm

Determined to have a more ‘hands on’ approach to getting the job done, Chris abandoned his career as an accountant shortly after completing his degree, and rolled up his sleeves to take on the world of IT. A true Chief Operations Officer, Chris never shies away from a challenge, but rather goes above and beyond to improve and enhance whichever business or division he works in, irrespective of the obstacles he encounters along the way. Chris has been directly involved in the IT field since 1995 and has extensive experience in Sales, Account, Channel and Operations Management in the Distribution and MSP space in the Southern African IT market. Always aiming to make a difference, Chris endevours to make things happen, instead of waiting for them to happen. In fact, this is his motto, and something he lives by every day.

Grace Dipale (Non-Executive Director) – BA, B.Ed, MAP SA

With extensive knowledge and hands on experience spanning across all disciplines of HR both locally and in Canada; Grace’s expertise in HR expands across the full HR value chain. Combining international studies and work experience coupled with local insight, Grace brings to bear theoretical knowledge with practical understanding to achieve the efficient alignment of HR and business. Grace heads up the Business Connexion Group Human Resources team which is made up of Business Partnering, Human Capital Operations and Centre of Excellence. This Group-wide executive role has been prioritised by the CEO and established in recognition of the fundamental role that HR and our people plays.  With a career spanning over fifteen years in human resources in the technology and communications industry, she embodies the nous to meet the employment and management requirements of a high performance driven organisation.

Refilwe Nkabinde (Non-Executive Director) – BCom (Hon)

Appointed Telkom | Business Connexion Chief of Finance and Shared Services in 2016. Prior to joining Business Connexion as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), she was the Finance and Strategy Director of Brandhouse Beverages, a role she moved into following a 12-month tenure as the Strategy & Commercial Finance Director and an 18-month tenure as Financial Controller of the company. Before joining Brandhouse Beverages, Refilwe fulfilled several roles within Business Connexion, including that of Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controller. She also has experience in the financial services sector having fulfilled several different roles within Standard Bank. She serves as a non-executive Trustee for the Diageo South Africa Empowerment Trust.
