Integr8 IT wins national Business Awards for innovation, entrepreneurship
Integr8 IT, South Africa’s largest privately owned national BEE ICT network integration and infrastructure management specialist, has overcome tough opposition to win both the ‘Innovation through Technology’ and ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ Awards at the annual Business Topco National Awards held last week in Gauteng.
The Integr8 Group, incorporating Integr8 IT as an associate company, captured the interest of operators within the ICT managed services and telecommunications markets having secured top Final places in three prestigious categories in the National Business awards ceremony.
Previous winners in the National Business Awards include, Patrice Motsepe (Harmony Gold),Tokyo Sexwale (Mvelphanda), Maria Ramos (Transnet), Wendy Lucas-Bull (First Rand), Monhla Hlahla (Airports Company South Africa), Prof.Nick Binedell (Gordon Institute of Business Science).
Cyril Rhamaposa has described the Topco National Business Awards as the ‘Oscars of South African Business’. The judges presented Integr8 IT with the Innovation through Technology Award, recognising its leadership in industry and the continued successful application of its business strategy.

The company’s profile was further elevated at the awards ceremony after a member of its executive management, Lance Fanaroff, joint CEO at Integr8 Group, took top honours for Entrepreneur of the Year 2009.
