Integr8 IT the source of technical proficiency for Water Comfort SA

Water Comfort South Africa, a national supplier of quality sanitary, has partnered with Integr8 IT to ensure a smooth and meaningful replacement of its ICT infrastructure and comprehensive support to boost its efficiency and digital communication.
This company, with branches in Gauteng and Cape Town, required the services of an established ICT managed services partner that could assist with a large-scale technology migration and connectivity project.

A mission-critical aspect of the project was the migration from a Linux-based file, print and mail solution to a comprehensive back office advanced infrastructure, unified communication and collaboration domain environment.

This incorporated the deployment of Microsoft Active directory 2008, Microsoft Exchange 2007, Microsoft SQL server 2005 and Microsoft ISA Server 2006.

Integr8 IT, South Africa’s largest privately owned national BEE ICT network integration and infrastructure management specialist and recent recipient of the Topco National Business Award for Innovation through Technology, was selected as the service provider of choice.

The award-winning service provider with eight Microsoft Gold Competencies was tasked by Water Comfort to deploy a new Advanced Infrastructure to provide Microsoft Active Directory 2008 Services plus message and collaboration to the entire group spread across South Africa.

This was primarily to accommodate business requirements and to allow secure access to its client’s primary business system.

The main objectives were to secure high speed connectivity through a Telkom VPN linking all branches into a central server, to ensure stability and reliability (stabilising the system with the least amount of downtime) and address these issues with the implementation of a monthly charge for maintenance

IT involved new PC equipment (hardware, laptops, servers and printers), as well as monthly maintenance, IT support and complete restructure of IT infrastructure.
