Integr8 IT – Africa’s number one entrepreneur Group
Integr8 IT, South Africa’s largest privately owned national BEE ICT network integration and infrastructure management specialist, emerged victorious at the Legatum Pioneers of Prosperity Africa Awards having been identified as one of South Africa’s leading entrepreneurial company. The company also received confirmation of its position among the top six such businesses on the continent.

Representatives of the company attended the Legatum Pioneers of Prosperity Africa Awards held recently in Kigali, Rwanda. The Awards program is sponsored by Legatum, a privately owned international investment group.

Over 1400 companies entered into the competition and after a comprehensive and intense adjudication process, adjudicators narrowed the field down to ten finalists, including Integr8 IT.

The company is an established ICT managed service provider within the burgeoning ICT managed service space and continues to receive industry-wide recognition for its intellectual capital, skills acumen and success in strategic infrastructure management and advancement of next-generation technologies.

“We are extremely happy to have received this recognition and accolade. It is encouraging to know that our strategy to transfer the benefit of managed services and support throughout Africa is gaining momentum,” said Robert Sussman, Joint-CEO at Integr8 IT.

Sussman and members of Integr8 IT executive directors joined a number of dignitaries and government officials at the event, including the President of Rwanda.

He believes the company’s position amongst the most recognized, top flight of corporations in Africa helps to secure its domestic and international services and offerings going forward.

“We are incredibly proud to have been singled out from such a broad and extensive base of corporations across the continent,” comments Sussman.

“Our strategy in Africa continues to bear fruit and we are happy to announce that our footprint has been expanded. Aside from a question of timing, our view of the potential for business in Africa is based on the fact that it remains a vastly untapped resource, but one in which key market segments such as digital lifestyle and information, communication technology is growing at a phenomenal rate. The end-user or technology consumer base in many regions is huge and we are positioned to meet infrastructure requirements for emerging businesses,” he adds.

In addition to its prize of $50 000.00 (+R500, 000.00), Integr8 IT will form part of a documentary that is already underway.

The monies will be distributed amongst ten African states with a view to the establishment and support of ICT businesses modelled on Integr8 IT, essentially reinforcing Integr8 IT’s presence throughout the continent.
