Eight in a row for Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Integr8 IT
The Integr8 Group is an established and dynamic provider of Managed Information, Communication and Telecommunication services.
PRLog (Press Release) – Jul 08, 2009 – Integr8 IT, South Africa’s largest privately owned national BEE ICT network integration and infrastructure management specialist, has received confirmation from software giant Microsoft of its status as a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner covering eight categories of competency.

The managed ICT services company has further differentiated itself within a highly competitive market space having secured gold competency status in: Network Infrastructure Solutions; Advanced Infrastructure Solutions; Information Worker Solutions; Security Solutions; OEM Hardware Solutions and Hosting Solution Competency.

Furthermore the company most recently received confirmation from Microsoft of its success in securing two additional categories including Unified Communications and Mobility Solutions, both core focus areas for Integr8 IT and its managed ICT services offering.

This achievement places the company in a very exclusive segment of the market in terms of Microsoft technology focused service provision and partnership says Jenny Prospero, Partner Programmes Manager, Microsoft South Africa.

“It is a distinguished achievement and is a very valuable testament to the company’s commitment, drive and dedication to this partnership. It certainly does differentiate Integr8 IT from its competitors and elevates the company’s status as a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner,” says Prospero.

There is a significant degree of synergy between all the above-mentioned areas of specialised competency, which adds impetus to their value in application.

Microsoft competencies enhance a partner’s offering to customers, providing a platform through which it can use logos and customer-facing directories to bolster service delivery.

Acquiring a competency provides a partner with access to a range of benefits, resources and tools.

Criteria for a competency acquisition includes recent customer references, individual certifications in the specialised areas, and/or development of tested, certified software based on Microsoft technologies.

Robert Sussman, joint CEO at Integr8 IT, describes the achievement as a significant step forward for the company and its ongoing strategy to meet critical and growing business requirements in the market.

“We are vehemently aware of the rise of software as a service, virtualisation and cloud computing in markets throughout the world, and in South Africa. Our capacity and capability with Microsoft technologies cannot be disputed and we are encouraged by the strength that this development adds to our service portfolio and general offering,” he says.
