Dear reader

In this week’s op business news, more than 77% of local CIOs who took part in Intel’s Enterprise Survey 2009 expect drastic cuts in IT investment as a result of the global economic crisis.

Also this week, companies should raise awareness within their organisations of new forms of cyber attacks. Telspace Systems says new cyber attacks, such as “clickjacking”, could leave companies vulnerable to hackers who are after sensitive information.

In other news, companies should ensure governance in their organisations is strategically aligned with their IT investment, and delivery must be measured by performance.

This week we feature Lance Fanaroff, joint CEO at Integr8 IT, in our Quick Q&A and, as always, feature a roundup by Stuart Lewis.

We welcome your comments and suggestions – feel free to e-mail me at any time.

Have a great weekend, till next time,
Kirsten Doyle
