At the recent Topco National Business Awards, the Oscars of SA Business, Lance won the prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year, one previously won by other business icons. He was also honoured as one of the top Entrepreneurs in the Ernst & Young Worldwide Entrepreneur of the Year awards, as well as being named one of the top IT Personalities of the Year. Lance’s entrepreneurial attitude has been one of the cornerstones of Integr8’s culture. Lance lives by his values. A highly respected industry veteran with a wealth of technical, operational and management experience and qualifications, Jan has moved up the ranks of the company where he now holds a key position as Managing Director. Jan calls on his significant business management skills to steer the burgeoning Integr8 Group. He is no stranger to the ICT industry having worked in the sector for over two decades. Jan is a member of the Institute of Directors and is recognised as a founding member of the South African Chapter of the Institute of Microsoft Certified Partners. Jan has been part of the Integr8 team since 2001, playing a significant role in building the technical competency within the company. His motto in life, “Advantages are taken, not handed out” reflect both his and Integr8’s resourcefulness.
Bennie has the ideal mixture of youth and experience that works so well in the ICT industry. His energy and enthusiasm is tempered with a healthy dose of reality earned working in an industry that has seen two crashes in less than a decade. That said, Bennie has remained committed to steering companies through these troubled waters. His insight, integrity and a superb technical team for backup, has meant Integr8 clients have enjoyed the best solutions for their businesses. Bennie is a member of the International Association for Microsoft Partners (IAMP) as well as the Online Institute of Directors. In true Integr8 style Bennie’s motto shows he leaves nothing to chance – “If your ship doesn’t come in, swim to it.”
Tami has always seen Integr8 as an extension of her family and while the family has grown to over 450-strong since 2001, she has managed to keep the same ethos at the heart of the company. Being at the core of every strategic activity since inception of the business, Tami’s Business Management qualifications and work experience gained at leading firms like Ernst & Young, have allowed her to own an exceptional understanding of all key functions within the company. Her value and reach is broadly experienced with her relentless and boundless energy pouring into countless initiatives for the greater community. Tami spearheads countless CSI initiatives all of which have ‘Ubuntu’ or the ‘enablement of the community’ at their core. This corporate culture has not only attracted some of the finest skills on offer, but has led to Integr8 winning multiple innovation and workplace provider awards acknowledging it as the employer of choice. Tami’s personal values are shared with that of the company and she believes that a business should be run with integrity and, unsurprisingly, her life motto is “Live your truth”.
Bradley’s impressive list of tertiary qualifications that include a CA (SA), ensure Integr8’s financial controls, corporate governance and legal compliance are operated at the level of leading publicly listed companies. Work within the Ernst & Young Risk Advisory Service, together with his time spent assisting international companies operate in Africa, has earned him enormous insight into financial best practice and legislative requirements,as well as regulatory and compliance practices. It is this knowledge that has enabled Bradley to assist the Integr8 executive team take the company to a level where it shines amongst some of the biggest ICT service and solutions providers on the global stage. Not surprisingly, Bradley’s life motto is “Life has no limitations, except the ones you make”
Neo has a string of qualifications in IT and systems management and has spent close on two decades consulting to companies on IT strategy, policies and best practice management. His insight into aligning ICT delivery with business objectives made him a natural fit for the Integr8 team. The Botswana operations have prospered under Neo’s careful eye and he is playing a significant role in guiding the company’s African expansions. Neo is committed to using ICT to enable growth in his country and he is a member of the ICT High Level Consultative Forum, advising the Botswana government on technology issues. He has also served as president of the Botswana Information and Technology Council. Despite his incredibly busy schedule, Neo believes in living a full and balanced life and his motto is “Work and play like there is no tomorrow. After all, the present is all we have control over”
