The Integr8 Group, South Africa’s largest privately owned national BEE ICT network integration and infrastructure management specialist, has worked closely with its partner and client, Auction Alliance, an established property auction house, to rollout technology shells or high-tech service stations to connect its bidders. These stations are equipped to radically enhance the auction experience for users.
Technology shells have been rolled out nationally across South Africa and are now prominent at every auction in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg, and provide the user with realtime, reliable access to information about all property on auction.
It also serves as a secure connection through which bidders can view catalogues of property on auction, gain full details of items, initiate transactions, gain secure banking access, video conference to remote bidders and track the progress of online activity.
Each booth is equipped with a workstation that is connected to the Internet and technical engineers from the Integr8 Group have provided all required training, setup, installation and support and are onsite to assist bidders.
The technology shells are available for use by any and all auction attendees.
“Auction Alliance is a leading auction house. Our innovative technology solutions ensure that our client is in a position to enhance its service offering and stay ahead of the game. The mission behind Auction Alliance is to create wealth and value for their clients by providing innovative sales and auction solutions. Using technology in an effective way is allowing them to do just that” says Robert Sussman, joint CEO and co-founder at Integr8 Group.
“As a company that has a proven track record and inherent strength within innovation and entrepreneurship. Integr8 was an easy choice for Auction Alliance, to manage and outsource their information technology services solutions. The partnership we have in place has served as an effective platform to launch a project that will have a very positive impact on the online auction industry, providing greater access to digital infrastructure. The provision of this new service has significantly strengthened our client’s service delivery to their market and also keeps the company as a leader in their field,” adds Sussman.
This is an ongoing project and all service booths are pre-configured prior to an auction by members of the Integr8 Group’s extensive technical support team.
“We are excited with the high level of innovation and entrepreneurship being delivered from Integr8. It is rare to find a company of their size and ten year proven track record filled with creditability, with the ability to deliver us competitive advantage from a technology perspective.
